this is probably the first post you see when you visit this blog. what you find here is a collection of the photoshops, gifs and now also youtube videos i’ve made and posted mainly on gaf (neogaf.com). they are almost all about videogames in one way or another. i added short comments or back stories when i thought they were needed and/or at least moderately interesting.
the dates on the blog posts in no way correlate to the original posting dates of the respective photoshops on gaf; i only started this blog a couple of weeks ago and the first photoshop dates back to november 2005. however, the photoshops have all been posted in chronological order, meaning that the very first post contains something i made in november 2005 and everything on this page is from 2008. you get the picture.
so, if you wanna read through the whole blog and look at all the pics in the order in which they were created, you might wanna start here, on page 16, and make your way forward to this post.
as you can see, all the posts have categories. i mainly used them to tag the posts with month and year in which the photoshops were created. the reason why they all end in “_jar” is because of wordpress.com’s stupid public category system. when you click on one of the categories in a post you’ll be taken to a page that shows you ALL the posts tagged with the respective category from ALL the blogs hosted on wordpress.com. i circumvented this by adding “_jar” at the end of all my category names. now you’ll only see posts from this blog, since no one else uses these categories. you can also click on categories on the sidebar, then you won’t be taken to the public dump at all.
there are ~270 photoshops, gifs or videos in 150+ posts total. that’s probably 80 – 90 % of the stuff i made. the rest didn’t make sense when not viewed in the context of a specific message board topic or was somehow inappropriate or just dumb in retrospect.
i doubt i will be expanding this blog much any time soon. these days i don’t spend all that much time on message boards anymore and i’m also not making a whole lot of photoshops anymore. i might add whatever i’ll be making in the future but don’t expect too many new posts. this is mainly a collection of the stuff i made in the past.
